Hockey registration for the 2020-21 Forrest King Hockey season is complete with all age groups/teams at full capacity or near full capacity. Thank you for your co-operation, patience and understanding during this process. Online registration was new for us this year and posed some challenges but it proved to be successful.
On December 8, 2020 the Provincial Gov’t of Manitoba announced that the Code Red Restrictions for Covid-19 have been extended to January 8, 2021.
What does that mean for Forrest Hockey? The E.C.C Board is adopting a wait and see approach! Once the Province announces it’s position on or before January 8, 2021, we will determine the fate of our hockey season at that time.
In order for Forrest Hockey to move forward, the Province must lift restrictions to Code Orange and facility occupancy limits to 50%. Moreover, even if the Province moves to this measure, the Rural Municipal Council of Elton has jurisdiction and we will need to seek approval to operate from the RM at such time. Lets hope and pray things improve!
